Make a customized glowing canvas tote bag using Electroluminescent (EL) panels! These unique panels emit a soft glow or can be set to two blinking speeds powered by a AA battery pack. In this workshop you will use laser-cut canvas tote bags to create a unique outline for the panel to glow through. You'll also be able to choose a plastic overlay color and stitch a fabric pocket to hold the electronics while learning about using electronics in fashion accessories. No prior electronics experience required. Each participant will receive a 4"x4" light-up patch and black canvas tote to craft a project with.
